Third baseman is a 2 year letterman who has earned both All District honors and All State honors. This is Jocelyn’s third season as a Varsity players and she has lettered twice. Good speed and a smart base runner. Jocelyn is considering playing softball in College for Hill College, Navarro College and Texas Wesleyan University.
Outfielder who will bring some depth as well as base running experience to the team. One of the team captains who shows tremendous leadership and enthusiasm to the team.
Another outfielder who adds to the depth of the team. Ashley has experience and has played on the Varsity since her Freshmen year.
Catcher/ 1B Brianna has received All District honors as well as All State honors. She has started on the Varsity since her Freshmen year and she was selected as Offensive Player of the Year in district 15 AAAA in 2005 and 2007. Brianna has committed to play College Softball at Navarro College in Corsicana.
Sherri is a 2 year Varsity starter who has received both All District Honors and All State honors. Sherri was selected Most Valuable Player in District 15 AAAA during the 2007 season. Also selected to the Dallas Morning News 2007 All AreaTeam in. Sherri is a team captain and has committed to play College Softball at Texas Women’s University in Denton.
Utility Player who can do a lot of things for the team. Bradley will add depth at Catcher and the Outfield and she can also play the infield. This is Bradley’s second season as a Varsity player. Bradley should be a difference maker.
Tori started in the circle last season as a Freshman where she won 20 games. Tori was selected as First Team All District in District 15 AAAA.
Monica is a 2 year letterman and has started in centerfield since her Freshmen year. Monica gets a great jump on the ball and has exhibited the ability to show some speed. She has an accurate arm from her centerfield spot.
Dakota is another utility type player who can play a number of places. She has been the starting SS since her Freshmen year. She is a 2 year letterman and makes many plays that most people think she can not make. Dakota should be a difference maker.
This is Rachel’s first season as a member of the Varsity and should provide some depth to the infield. Though inexperienced, Rachel can help out in a number of roles.
Lauren is one of the team captains who has started and lettered as a Varsity player since her Freshmen season. Lauren was selected as a first team All District Utility Player during the 2007 season and has received both All District Honors as well as All State honors. Lauren has committed to play College Softball at Bossier Parrish College.
Andi is a first year Varsity player who will add depth to the outfield, infield and will do some pitching. Andi has demonstrated some power from the plate, and some speed on the bases. Andi has a strong arm from her outfield position. Andi should be a difference maker.
