This Summer 2007, we will be taking an 8 day tour of Mexico.

Day 1:  We'll fly to Mexico City, and arrive the same day.  We'll meet our CHA Tour Director!!! 

Day 2:  Guide of Mexico City begins in the Zocalo, to view the collection of monuments which the Spaniards build above the ruins. Sight seeing the Metropolitan Cathedral and the National Palace. Visit the Museum of Anthropology where the ancient and modern treasurers are housed. At night, we will attend the Folklorico performance or the Xochimilco floating gardens. 

Day 3: From Mexico city to Teotihuacan, we will visit the temple called Avenue of the Dead which is between the the Pyramid of the Moon and the Pyramid of the Sun where is is said "a place where men become gods". We explore the Temple of Quetzalcoatl (the plumed serpent) and the Shrine of Guadalupe (patron saint of Mexico) before returning to Mexico City

Day 4: We lead to Cuernavaca ("The land of Eternal Spring"), the Aztec town famous for its brightly colored houses. We continue to Taxco, scenically located in the Sierra Madre Mountains. Later we are guided on an evening walking tour

Day 5 :We take a tour of Taxcol's cobbled streets to Church of Santa Prisca ( the towns largest and most beautiful place to worship). Then we drive to Acapulco (Pacific coast) where it is known as a legendary beach resort.

Day 6: Attend an EXCITING performance "Acapulco Cliff Divers" at La Quebrada, they will perform daring feats. Afterwards, we will relax in the Acapulco Bay cruse and the rest of the day you have the choice to stay in the beach or shop in the city's markets.

Day 7: Free day to relax along at the beach. Other suggested activities like, visits to Parque Papagayo (A popular island de la Roqueta)  or Casa de la Cultura with an excellent archaeological museum, galleries, and shops..

Day 8: Depart from Mexico to the U.S.A
