Tutoring is available in the morning at 8:00a.m. and after school at 3:40 with an appointment

 

“Teachers open the door, but you must enter by yourself”

 

Expectations:

1.    Listen while others are talking.

2.    Respect other people and their property.

3.    Bring necessary material to class.

4.    Follow all written and oral directions.

5.    Sit in your assigned seats

6.    Be courteous to substitute teachers.

 

Consequences:

Anything that can be disruptive to the class can receive a consequence.  Consequences include but are not limited to:

1.    Verbal warning

2.    Rearrange seating

3.    Parental contact

4.    Detention

5.    Removal from class and sent to the principal’s office

 

Attendance:

I am glad to have each of you in my classroom. Please be on time.  Detentions for tardiness will be given.  If you are absent you must makeup your work.  Possible makeup days will be given.

 

Grades:

50% Guided practices assignments (with assistance)

50% Test, Quiz, and Projects (student will show mastery)

 

Assignments:

          Grades will be based on all assignments given by the teacher, completed, not completed, and work not turned in.  A test grade will be given for the organization of student folder.  Cheating will not be tolerated. 

 

Necessary Material:

1.    Pencil

2.    Paper

I will provide pencils for 25 cents.  At the end of class if you return the pencil then I will give back the money. 

 

Passes:

Each student will be given 4 passes to leave the classroom per nine weeks.  A student can gain passes by having an A average at progress report time and at the end of the nine weeks.  Students can not borrow passes and they do not carry over to the next nine weeks.
