Counselors

We do individual planning in the areas of educational, career, and personal-social development.  We do guidance curriculum in a variety of areas with all students as well as provide responsive services, both prevention and intervention, to address immediate needs and concerns of students.

Some of the roles we play include counseling, consultation, program implementation and management, coordination, and assessment.

The college/career room is another reason to come by the advisor department.  This room is filled with information and books on careers and study help for school and testing. Scholarship applications are also in the college room, and we regularly send out a senior newsletter with the current scholarships available.  Our CHOICES software in the library, has a tremendous amount of information on careers, schools and scholarships
