Biography: I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University and have been involved in the teaching profession since 1972. During this time I have taught both English and journalism, and recently received certification in Consumer Science. I have been a cheerleader sponsor, a junior and senior class sponsor, activity director, UIL coordinator and sponsor of the Interact Club. I produced the yearbook and school newspaper and re-introduced the WHS Coronation. I was named Teacher of the Year and had the Chief  yearbook dedicated to me. I am very excited about the Career Studies class, and hope that the freshmen will leave my class with the feeling that they have a goal and a plan for their lives.
