Student Projects 

Spanish II, 1^st Semester           

Make a travel brochure or a PowerPoint presentation about a Spanish-speaking

country. The student will research the culture,

geography, monetary units, climate,  popular travel

destinations, and travel  arrangements. The student

will do online research and create the brochure using

Publisher 2002 or the PowerPoint presentation using PowerPoint2002.

Spanish II, 2^nd Semester

Create a newsletter in Spanish/English. The students

will work in groups. They will create an advice column,

crossword puzzle, and a word search. They will

interview teachers and write an article. The students

will write an article about a  Spanish-speaking

country. The students will create a hidden picture

hunt, and a section for famous quotes, useful phrases,

and slang terms.  The students will use the Internet to

do research and to create puzzles. They will create

the newsletter using Microsoft Word and Publisher

2003.
