Objectives
1. To encourage the growth and developing of correct singing skills.
2. To develop good overall musicianship with an emphasis on vocal achievement in a solo or group setting.
3. To learn individual responsibility and to develop the habit of being a dependable student.
Choral Concerts
Co-Curricular: any activity that is considered an extension of the classroom, i.e...., PTA programs, National Honor Society induction, Fall and Spring concerts, Assemblies, etc. There are no eligibility requirements for these concerts and everyone is expected to participate in these activities without exception.
Extracurricular: any activity that is competitive or held in conjunction with a competition, or any activity for which an admission is charged, i.e. UIL contest, Musical productions, Choir Festivals, Solo/Ensemble contest, All Region choir, All State auditions. Notification of all singing events will be given as far in advance as possible. Students that fail any class are considered ineligible to participate for the legally stated period of time following the grading period.
