Personal Information:

I moved to Waxahachie in 1999 with my husband and two sons.  One son is now attending Texas A&M and the other one is a senior at Waxahachie High School.

Experience:

I worked as a Mortgage Loan Officer in the banking and mortgage industry for four years in Nacogdoches, TX.

I then began a career as a full time mother.  I was fortunate to stay home with my boys until they started Elementary School.

In 1994 I began a career in Education.  I spent three years in Arlington ISD in Elementary Special Education.  I taught two years in Big Spring ISD in Secondary Special Education.  This is my sixth year with Waxahachie ISD where I have taught at both the Elementary and Secondary levels.  I was honored to be named Teacher of the Year at Shackelford Elementary my first year in the district.
