1.
Check the
board or your class assignments (syllabus) to stay on schedule.
2.
It is
your responsibility to turn in your assignments on or before the due date.
3.
Students
not turning in assignments at the assigned time, when unrelated to an absence,
may turn in their work the next class period.
Points will be deducted on the late assignment because it was not turned
it on the due date.
4.
Most
tests are production or application tests (tests completed on the computer).
5.
You have
the opportunity to correct some documents on which you make lower than
70; however, the re-grade will be a maximum grade of 70.
6.
The
original assignment MUST be stapled on top of the corrected copy with the words
“Corrections” written at the top on the graded copy as well as the corrected
copy.
7.
All your
graded papers are filed in your file folder.
8.
Talk to
the instructor if you discover any errors in grading.
9.
A printed
progress report will be given to each student halfway through the nine-week
quarter.
10.
If the
student is absent, it is the student’s responsibility to ask the instructor
about assignments missed and make arrangements for the makeup work.
11.
Always
include a typed heading on each assignment.
Type your name, class section, date, and class assignment number in the
heading. Papers without the proper
heading will not be accepted for grading purposes.
12.
Daily
work counts 50% of final average.
13.
Tests
count 50% of final average.
14.
Tests are
given at the end of each unit lesson. Normally,
every 2-3 weeks, the student will complete a unit of study and take a test
covering the unit.
1.
Bring two
reams of paper (#20, white) or $5.00 to cover the cost.
2.
Bring a
pen or pencil every day. Just bring
your notebook with these supplies daily.
3.
You will not
be issued a textbook. All work is
done in class—NO HOMEWORK!!!
