AP CS Summer Packet & Directions
AP CS 1 - NO packet required
AP CS 2 - see me for the packet before the end of school OR go to the main office. You will need a flash drive in order to copy & paste all of the information from my Summer Packet CD.
I have placed the two following installs in a folder with your summer packet. Follow the instructions below. After loading all of the "free" software, you may begin your packet.
Directions to Install -- Jdk 5.0 AND JCreator
*** You MUST load the SDK first, BEFORE installing JCreator
1.) Select: j2se 5.0 sdk
2.) Select for Windows (all languages including English)
3.) Select: SDK download
4.) Accept
5.) Download and save to C:\Java5 (create this folder now)
6.) Extract to Java5
1.) Select: JCreator Freeware download
2.) Save in: C:\Java5\JCreator (create this folder now)
3.) Extract to JCreator
4.) Run Setup.exe
5.) Choose Destination Directory : C:\Java5\JCreatorLE
6.) Follow defaults
