Teacher Information:                    

    Hello, my name is Lisa Minton and I will be teaching Pre AP World Geography at  the Waxahachie Ninth Grade Academy this year.   The world is an exciting place, and I really enjoy teaching about it.  When I am not teaching, I'm spending time with my family.  I am married to a local high school coach, Terry, and I have 3 beautiful angels… Sarah age 18, Leigha age 17, and Krista age 14.    I received a secondary degree from Abilene Christian University in History and Health in 1988.  I received an Elementary and ESL endorsement later on.  I graduated from Berkner High School in Richardson in 1982. 

     I believe that all children are capable of learning and that it is my job to inspire and encourage them to be all that they can be.... and I believe that can best be  accomplished by my care and respect of them as individuals.
