A Short Biography

I started working for district in 1973 as art teacher for sixth grade. At that time, Turner Middle School had just been opened as a sixth grade only campus. I worked at Turner Middle School for six years where I taught art as well as weaving and crafts.
In the Fall of 1979 hired by high school principal to build art program at W.H.S. I worked at high school for six years.
In 1985 asked to take administrative position as Director of Media Services. Continued in this capacity as director until 1995.
In 1995 I returned to my roots as a classroom teacher of art. I presently teach Art I.
I also teach Art Appreciation for Navarro College at the Ellis Center, the local community college in Waxahachie.
