My name is Marianna Larkin. I graduated from high school in Lancaster, Texas. I received my degree in Business Education from East Texas State University in 1977.

I have enjoyed teaching in Waxahachie for 17 years. I am presently teaching Accounting and Business Communication.  I have taught Accounting in the past through the Cedar Valley Junior College adult education program.  

I have two children. My daughter, Julie Ballance, is presently living and working in Lewisville and attending University of North Texas.  She is hoping to pursue a career in Education.

My son, Timothy Larkin, is in the 8th grade and aspires to be a professional basketball player.  I am desperately trying to introduce other aspects of life to him, hoping other interests will rub off!  Until then he keeps us both very involved in school activities and sports.  

  I enjoy traveling, especially to the Caribbean.  I love all types of music, but if I had to narrow it down to one performer it would be James Taylor. If by chance I find some spare time, I can become totally lost in a good mystery novel.  I enjoy the outdoors and trying to maintain a nice looking yard.
