WAXAHACHIE HIGH SCHOOL LIBRARY

 

 

The library at W.H.S. is a place for learning,

exploring, and excitement. We have 2 research

labs with 54 computers for student/teacher use.

In addition to the Internet, we also have several

CD Rom programs available to students to assist in the

research process.

WHS library is one of the best reference libraries

in the county. Students can find answers to

most any question they are researching.

 

The hours of library operation are 7:30-4:00

M-F and 6:00-8:00 Mon & Thurs. evenings.

 

 

Megan Mills, the librarian,graduated from Waxahachie High School in 1983. She has a B.A. in education from Baylor University and a Masters of Library Science From University of North Texas. She has 11 years as a librarian with the last 2 in WHS. Megan has two sons and resides in Waxahachie.

In addition to the librarian there are two aides.

Wilma Thomas graduated from Olden High School, Olden, Texas. She graduated from Ranger College and attended Texas Christian University. A resident of Palmer, Wilma has two daughters and five grandchildren.

Maurine Butler graduated from Red Oak High School in 1938 and Weatherford Jr. College in 1939. She has three daughters and four grandchildren. Maurine has worked in the WHS library for 16 years and is a resident of Waxahachie.
