 March 6, 2008 - Another Great Bake Sale !

Hi Everybody,

Bake sale update!  Last week was a bit interesting with the bomb scare on Tues., the TAKS test on Wed., we were able to finally sell our baked goods on Thurs. We did pretty well, but the Spanish club was selling food also.  We had some things left, so Christy Bentley took them to Shakelford and sold them to the teachers, Thank You!

We only have about 6 bake sales left, so lets finish strong and make a difference for Project Graduation.  We currently have earned almost $4,000 with our bake sales.  My goal is for us to reach $5,000 by the middle of May.  Come on team we can do it!  We've done really well all year, let's make our last 6 weeks GREAT ones.

In case anyone has forgotten what month they signed up for...March Moms signed up to bring goodies this month are:  Lee Ann Owens, Valli Phillips, Denise Wessels, Christine Block, Lisa Popp, Sheila McGlothen, Suzie Brown, Julie O'Teter, Bobbie Clemmons, Judy Hamilton, Kathy Wilson, Susan Lamb, Jana Woodhouse, Sheri Cook, & Londa McCullough.  Thanks to all of you and everyone else who has brought goodies throughout the year.

Just a reminder, the kids LOVE brownies, choc. chip cookies, rice krispie treats, & cupcakes.  If you run out of time to bake, they also love those thick shortbread cookies with the colored icing sold at HEB and Wal-Mart.

Also, I need Moms for April and May.  E-mail or call me if one of those times will work for you.  I appreciate all of you!

God Bless and Keep Baking!

 February 24, 2008 - Another Great Bake Sale !

Hey Moms,

Bake sales continue to go well.  February Moms one more week, then we'll turn it over to the March Moms.  I still need 2-3 more volunteers for March.

Last week we did run out of baked goods before the end of D lunch.  If a couple extra of you would like to bring something on Tues. it would be appreciated.  Thanks to all of you!

God Bless,

October 23, 2007 - Another Great Bake Sale

Hey Moms,

Another GREAT bake sale thanks to you October Moms who have so faithfully baked the last four weeks!  Just one more week then we'll pass it to the November Moms!  Seriously the kids love everything you're sending.  We sold out today, but we did have enough to carry us through most of D lunch.

Unless otherwise specified I'm leaving Tupperware containers in the front office to be picked up there. If you are aware of Senior parents who want to be involved in the bake sales please have them contact myself or Debbie Miles.

Thanks again for everything your bringing, and a special thank you to those of you who have baked all month. You are Super and I appreciate YOU!

God Bless ,

Patty McGinnis

To help benefit the 2008 Project Graduation, we are selling:

     Shoppers Delight Cards

There are 24 merchants on the card. They sell for $20 and they make great gifts. You get your moneys worth out of them. All the profits go to Project Graduation. If you are interested in purchasing one, please email me how many and where you are located and I will get them delivered to you by one of our seniors. If you know a senior, purchase one from them because they get their name in a drawing for a chance to win some money if they sell at least 6 of the cards.

We would like to thank you for all your support of Project Graduation.

You may download and print the card, but it will not be accepted at any sponsor. Only authenticate cards can be used.
